Target Audience: Employees that may need to work at heights or supervisors of employees who work at heights. 

Duration: 1 day

Prerequisite: Nil 

Participants: Maximum 8 per session 

Course Overview: Working at heights is defined as, or includes, any work at an elevation above a surface where there is a risk that a fall may result in injury or death. This course provides basic training for working at heights and covers the following skills and criteria

  • Edge protection systems

  • Fall arrest systems

Perform Work at Heights:

  • Use of fall protection equipment
  • Working safely at heights
  • Suspension trauma management
  • Emergency response
  • Report all hazards, incidents and injuries
  • Monitor work area and equipment

Clean Up Work Area:

  • Maintenance
  • Dismantle safety system
  • Clear work area
  • Tidy up
  • Check and store equipment
