To be qualified and act as a Fire Safety Officer (NSW Healthcare Policy Directive PD2010_024), the participant must complete the following Workplace Emergency Response units of competency:- 

  • PUAWER001B Identify, prevent and report potential workplace emergency situations 
  • PUAWER002B Ensure workplace emergency prevention procedures, systems and processes are implemented 
  • PUAWER004B Respond to workplace emergencies 
  • PUAWER005B Operate as part of an emergency control organisation 
  • PUAWER006B Lead an emergency control organisation 
  • PUAWER008B Confine small workplace emergencies

Target Audience: Fire Safety Officers and other professionals that have a role in emergency situations primarily in healthcare facilities including aged care facilities and hospitals.

Duration: 2 Days

Location: We can arrange for group (Corporate) training to occur at your premises or individual (Public) training at our office in Homebush.

Availability: This course is available in NSW only.
