MX Technology
Wormald MX
Wormald believe that a fire detection and alarm system should not only be trouble free and value for money at the time of installation, but also throughout the “lifetime of the system” especially when system upgrades are required. We recognize that customers want a choice when it comes to service providers and that is why we have a customer focussed approach to fire detection and alarm equipment. This means that our customers are not locked into long-term service and maintenance agreements, and have the freedom to choose who they deal with rather than us making the choice for them.
We retain our customer’s loyalty by providing them with "Standards of Excellence in design, installation, commissioning and service and maintenance".
To ensure the integrity of our customers’ systems, Wormald use password protection for the configuration of systems they install in compliance with fire equipment Standards and although the password is not required to undertake a general routine service (in accordance with AS1851), this password is required to modify the system’s operation.
Customers opting to use an alternative service provider other than Wormald can be provided with their panel’s password to grant their chosen service provider access to make modifications to the panel’s program.
Wherever ‘lifesafety’ equipment is provided there is a responsibility under the building codes and a duty of care to the occupants to ensure that it will operate effectively in the event of an emergency. If you choose to use an alternative service provider, you should be satisfied that this service provider is fully competent to deliver the level of service required.
There is no better person to service and maintain your MX Fire Detection System than a Wormald Technician with extensive knowledge built on continuous training and certification in relation to the MX product range.
Access to spare parts and components has been simplified and up to date documents such as manuals, datasheets and brochures are now available directly from our website. Please click on our green "Related Documents" tab, found at the top of the page to download these documents.
