Full Training Session


Target Audience: Employees who may have a requirement to operate breathing apparatus

Duration: 1 Day

Location: Your premises. For smaller groups, public courses are available at the Wormald Sydney office.

Availability: This course is available in NSW and VIC

Prerequisite: Nil

Participants: Maximum 8 per session

Course Overview: This nationally accredited course covers the competency associated with the operation and maintenance of breathing apparatus equipment in an irrespirable atmosphere Topics Include:

  • Conduct pre-donning checks and test Breathing Apparatus
  • Don, check and operate Breathing Apparatus
  • Maintain, test and identify Breathing Apparatus components
  • Describe the physiology of respiration
  • Respond to incidents requiring breathing apparatus to be worn and use safe working practices

 

Refresher Training Session


A refresher of your Breathing Apparatus Training is required every 2 years. As a result, Wormald also offers a Refresher Training option, which is a high level summary of what is taught in the full training session.

Duration: 4 hours

Location: Your premises

Prerequisite: Must hold nationally accredited qualification current within 2 years

Availability: This course is available in NSW and VIC

Participants: Maximum 8 per session
