Foam Water Spray Vehicle Fire Suppression System for light vehicles

Wormald’s Foam Water Spray Vehicle Fire Suppression System for Light Vehicles is designed for the suppression of fires in the smaller engine compartments of small to medium four-wheel drives and small mobile plant such as forklifts.

Ordinary combustibles or flammable liquids can be ignited by the engine, turbo charger, exhaust manifolds, electrical components or brakes. In little time the entire machine can be enveloped in fire. A burst hydraulic hose or faulty fitting can provide a continuous spray of burning fluid, effectively increasing the fire’s intensity.

The system is designed to quickly and effectively suppresses fires in engine spaces up to 1.5 m3 in volume. Where the engine space is larger than 1.5 m3, an additional cylinder can be added with a maximum system limit of two cylinders.

Fast and simple to install – the cylinder can be mounted either vertically or horizontally, easy to recharge and with low maintenance, the Australian-made system is an extremely cost effective yet high quality solution for smaller vehicles.
