PUAFER001 – Identify, prevent and report potential facility emergency situations

PUAFER002 – Ensure facility emergency prevention procedures, systems and processes are implemented

PUAFER003 – Manage and monitor facility emergency procedures, equipment and other resources

PUAFER004 – Respond to facility emergencies

PUAFER005 – Operate as part of an emergency control organisation

PUAFER006 – Lead an emergency control organisation

PUAFER007 – Manage an emergency control organisation

PUAFER008 – Confine small emergencies in a facility

Duration: 3 days

This program of nationally recognised units of competency, provides participants with the skills and knowledge to carry out the duties required in the Fire Safety Adviser role. This program covers risk management strategies and the application of emergency planning processes. Completion of this program not only satisfies the training requirements for the ‘Fire Safety Adviser’ role under the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008, but meets the national qualifications in emergency prevention, facility evacuation and initial response training, required to deal with emergencies in facilities.
